- 📢 IMPORTANT — PLEASE READ THIS ONE CAREFULLY: As has now been officially confirmed, iy"H, there will be a special raffle on an actual dollar from the Rebbe, and this raffle is for all yeshivos, across the board, every single yeshiva that participated in this program during these Three Weeks — meaning if your yeshiva took part at all, you are automatically included, no extra sign-up needed, it's automatic. In addition to that, separately, there is also an automatic prize — not a raffle, an actual guaranteed prize — for anyone, in any participating yeshiva, who reaches the 18 of 21 goal, meaning if you make the goal you are getting something, that part isn't left to chance at all, it is simply given. And then, on top of all of the above, there is also a completely separate raffle just for us, meaning just for our yeshiva specifically, the Lubavitcher Mesivta of Chicago, a private raffle exclusively for our own bochurim here, in addition to everything else already mentioned. So to be clear, that is three separate things: the big dollar-of-the-Rebbe raffle for all yeshivos, the automatic prize for finishing, and our own extra raffle just for Lubavitcher Mesivta of Chicago. Keep learning, keep answering, don't fall behind, and iy"H we should all see real hatzlacha from this. 🎉

י״ז תמוז · ThursdayIt is a Mitzvas Aseh to make a House for Hashem, prepared for Korbanos to be offered within. We must celebrate there three times a year, as the Possuk says: "And you shall make Me a Mikdash." The Mishkan constructed by Moshe is already described in the Torah. It was only temporary, as the Possuk says: "For at present, you have not come unto the resting place and the inheritance."
מצות עשה לעשות בית לה', מוכן להיות מקריבים בו הקרבנות, וחוגגין אליו שלוש פעמים בשנה, שנאמר "ועשו לי מקדש" (שמות כה,ח). וכבר נתפרש בתורה המשכן שעשה משה רבנו, והיה לפי שעה, שנאמר "כי לא באתם עד עתה" (דברים יב,ט).
